Our Approach
We are a team of change-makers who believe that a new approach is necessary to pack the bench with strong advocates, restore our rights, and move the Democratic Party forward.
PACtheBench is founded by a group of political campaign veterans, policy wonks, field mobilizers, and digital experts. Together, we are dedicating our knowledge, resources, relationships and skills to build a new path forward for the Democratic Party.

Brandon Zavala
Brandon Zavala has previously served as the Campaign Manager for Christy Smith for Congress – the most expensive and competitive House race of the 2020 election cycle. He now works as the Director of Government at Afriat Consulting Group, supporting the development of new housing projects in Los Angeles.

Shoshana Levy
Shoshana Levy is an experienced legislative aide at the California State Legislature. She has worked for policy non-profits, advocacy organizations, political campaigns, and legislative offices. She provides expert analysis to move forward policy in the area of housing, women’s rights, education, taxation, and human services.

Zane Rice
Zane Rice is a former campaign manager, former field director, and currently is a digital consultant supporting non-profits and political committees. As Executive Director of PACtheBench, Zane is building power to help restore Roe, elect pro-choice Democrats up-and-down the ballot, and to fight for the soul of our democracy.

Katie Meyer
Katie Meyer is an experienced field director, having worked on local, Congressional, and Presidential campaigns as well as working for advocacy non-profits. Her work has been centered around mobilizing volunteers to move the needle in critical fights. She now works on building PACtheBench’s base across social media and other platforms.
